What if I walked up to a highly trained and experienced brain surgeon during an operation and informed him that I would be critiquing the procedure? Picture me with a white coat, clipboard and my glasses perched on my nose if you like.

Now mind you, I have no medical knowledge or background in brain surgery whatsoever. I can't even pronounce half the medical terms, have no previous experience working in surgery and am not qualified to have an opinion.

Do you really think my opinion would be worth much?

That is exactly how I feel when some ninny skeptic decides to declare Numerology nothing but superstition masquerading as a science or an art. I ask myself upon what experience and knowledge does the skeptic base his opinion? Has he ever read a book , done a reading or experimented with Numerology? What kind of research and analysis has he done to come up with his conclusion? I would wager to say absolutely none. If that skeptic took a little time and effort to actually test Numerology by learning about it and doing it, he would be ultimately convinced that Numerology is quite accurate.

As a professional Numerologist, I have over 4000 readings and years of research to base my opinion on. Those years of experience has proven to me that Numerology can accurately describe a person's personality traits as well as give clear indication of a person's destiny in life. Even more so, Numerology can accurately identify life altering experiences in a person's life to the very year it occurs . Everything from love affairs, marriages, major moves, bankruptcy, accidents, promotions to changes in careers can be seen in a person's Numerology Chart. Add to that , if you look at dates in history, you can also see patterns with numbers that defy the law of averages.

It is not a matter of Numerology proving anything but rather, it tends to prove itself. Through an understanding of the meaning of the numbers and interpreting them, Numerology validates what is already occurring. By the time a person solicits a Numerologist for a reading, they have half a lifetime to compare the results of a Numerology reading to. They are already living proof of what the Numerologist is sharing with them.

I doubt if Martha Stewart, an 8 Lifepath, ever had a Numerology Reading but I bet she would be fascinated. I am sure the definition of an 8 Lifepath would make perfect sense to her. An 8 Lifepath has a gift with business and knowing how to make money. Martha Stewart built an empire on her business savvy and interestingly enough, she also was, at one time, a stockbroker. Even her being indicted by the government on nine counts of security fraud and obstruction of justice and serving jail time is in perfect alignment with the understanding of an 8 Lifepath.

Walter Cronkite , a 5 Lifepath, was one of the best known American journalists and the beloved anchorman for CBS News. 5s are gifted communicators and writers. He also narrated many documentaries and recorded voice overs. 5s are also known for their beautiful sounding voices and often are found in television, radio and media.

Dan Aykroyd is best known as an actor but few people realize he is a ufologist and very spiritual which is befitting of his 7 Lifepath. Most 7 Lifepath question the unseen and are interested in all areas of the metaphysical.

A quote from Dan Aykroyd:

"I am a Spiritualist, a proud wearer of the Spiritualist badge. Mediums and psychic research have gone on for many, many years... Loads of people have seen [spirits], heard a voice or felt the cold temperature. I believe that they are between here and there, that they exist between the fourth and fifth dimension, and that they visit us frequently"

Coincidence? I think not. You can't make this stuff up. People's lives validate the accuracy of Numerology and are proof enough.

Yes, I have declared war on skeptics of Numerology. This Numerologist disagrees.

A skeptic is a person who does not accept things on face value. A certain amount of skepticism is good because it prompts you to question things on a deeper level. It asks you to investigate, do research and decide for yourself. Unfortunately many people who call themselves skeptics, and make assumptions and opinions based upon nothing, are not true skeptics. Frankly, they don't deserve the title.

So the next time a skeptic tells you that something is hogwash, ask him about his expertise in that field and upon what he bases his opinion. Feel free to be skeptical of the skeptic. Turn around is fair play. In the meantime, I promise I will not judge the worthiness of someone else s profession unless I have a degree in their field.

Don't even get me started about the price of food and would somebody explain to me please why a lousy can of corned beef is $5 when not so long ago, it was 1.89? The prices of food has risen over 50% and God knows the average American wage has not kept up with inflation. If prices keep going up, eventually even us peasants will not be able to pay. Somebody has to be making money on this somewhere.

At 58 years old, I have seen many decades of American history come and go. I love America and I believe in the greatness of our Nation but sometimes even great nations need reminding of the principles upon which it was founded.

I do not have a degree in finances nor political sciences and there is much about our system that goes beyond my ability to understand but I do know when people are greedy and I do know when a system is unjust and skewed to favor one group of people over another.

"A Government of the People, for the People and by the People " has long been shattered when the only people our elected Representatives listen to is the ones with the most money in their hands. Lobbyists serve big business and the voices of the little people are no longer heard. Bills have been passed that directly have effected your financial well being for the purpose of profiting big business.

Our lawmakers have also passed self serving laws that enable them to walk away from their terms with a paycheck and health care for life. These same lawmakers are responsible for being inept at doing their jobs, unable to be fiscally responsible, unable to cooperate with each other for the good of the nation, out of touch with the average Americans needs, and lets not forget how they used our money to bail out companies that were unethical and irresponsible rather than hold them accountable for their unlawful behavior. These are the same people who dipped into the surplus of your Social Security.

The stock market is manipulated and you are the ones that end up making other people richer as you loose the value of your retirements and your pensions. Because of the greediness of bankers, the mortgage crisis has reduced the value of your homes and caused untold numbers of foreclosures. Unemployment as reported is no where near the truth because many Americans ran out of unemployment benefits and are no longer counted among the unemployed.

And the list goes on and on...

They say "life isn't fair" and I say "why isn't it fair?"

You may wonder what the Wall Street protesters have to do with you.

They are you. They are trying to give you a voice to help make this country great again.

You know you have been effected and you probably have an opinion.

You have two choices.

Be apathetic and do nothing or fight for your rights and join them and let your voice be heard too.

You do not have to go to NYC to protest to show your support. That is not feasible for many of us but don't worry, I suspect, soon enough, there will be a protest in your town .

You can show your support by posting your support on Facebook and Twitter and any other way you can. Get the discussion started with your friends and family and neighbors. Let your opinion be heard and give others the opportunity to share theirs. It is good to know you are not alone.

Numerology and 2012

Since the onset of the year 2000, the energy of the planet changed and with it, people have changed. No longer satisfied with conventional religion, people are becoming more open to spiritual ideas and philosophy or looking for alternative belief systems. The decline in organized religion is statistically proven and well documented.

Television and media, in the past, was not supportive of spiritual philosophy or anything connected to it. Now days, a quick glance of current television programming and you see shows that explore subjects that would have never been previously considered. There is no shortage of books, radio shows and websites that fully support a spiritual awakening taking place and a majority of them were created after the year 2000.

The new age movement is in full force even in the medical fields where scientists are discovering the healing powers of the human body. Holistic healing is becoming more acceptable and I have no doubt, it will become routine eventually.

You may have heard the term “The Shift” and understand it to be a new wave of human consciousness and I can assure you that the 2 which began its reign in the Year 2000 has everything to do with it. We have moved into a different kind of energy when we celebrated the New Year January 1^st, the Year 2000. When this energy is present, you have two options; you either evolve with it or fight against it. If you choose to go against it, you will not flourish, in fact, you could potentially be destroyed by it.

Looking back, the reign of the 1900s brought with it a Karmic meaning. The number 19 in Numerology is translated to mean” improper use of power”. It was a time focused upon money, power and greed. It was a time of wars, dictatorships, and fortunes were amassed through industry. The 1900s were strongly influenced by the 1 which is very ambitious, aggressive and has a strong desire for money, power and success. The 1 is not concerned about the good of all but rather is focused upon the individual and looking out for its own best interests. You can see much of that transpiring in the 1900s.

Enter the 2 energy of the 2000s and the focus and ultimate goal of the 2 is upon peacefulness. It is a very spiritual vibration that promotes love and cooperation. Many people have experienced an awakening to this new vibration which can explain the desire to connect on a deeper basis to their spiritual roots. The energy has changed and it no longer supports the individual. It demands we work for what is the greatest good for all. We already are beginning to see dictatorships fail as well as the destruction of governments that were no longer supportive of the people. They simply can not thrive under the requirements of the 2.

The “Shift” is occurring and it began in the Year 2000. One can not be alive on this planet and not acknowledge that we are in unprecedented times. So many things are occurring in so many areas of our lives that it almost feels surrealistic. Our government is not working. Our economy is failing. Our way of life is not the same and things will continue to evolve until we are in perfect harmony with the number 2. There can be no other way. We must go through the changes. Power will change hands. Institutions motivated by greed will fail. Only what is in alignment with the peaceful, fair, harmonious, cooperative, loving, balanced energy of the 2 will survive.

Perhaps you have met her, the "boss from hell". She is so ambitious that most of the time she is scheming to beat out her competition no matter what that takes. There is a long line of people she has buried in order to get to where she is. She is so caught up in her own world that nothing or no one else matters. Adjectives like deceitful, manipulative, ruthless, abusive and condescending come to mind when you think of her. She places the All-Mighty dollar high on a pedestal and reminds you daily of how much her shoes and designer clothing costs. She suffers from delusions of grandor and getting to the top is her only objective and she will get there any way she can.

If you are an 8 Lifepath, and this is your boss, you have just been introduced to the person you DON'T want to be. You have just met one of the most powerful teachers you will ever meet and if you hang around long enough , you will be witness to her demise.

An 8 can never achieve success that way. Now your boss may tell you that if you stick with her, you too will be as successful one day but I am telling you now to run, run as fast as you can to the nearest exit. Don't let her tempt you to follow in her footsteps because I assure you her path is the highway to hell.

A true 8 knows that leadership involves helping people achieve their full potential while building an organization that is successful. Money is never the goal. Numerology , Juno Jordan, and A Great Prophecy

You can never be finished with the study of Numerology because the more you know, the more you realize you need to learn. Despite the fact I have been a professional Numerologist for over 10 years, I often take out one of my many Numerology books and read it again as if looking for information I might have missed. I was so struck by the words I read the other night; I felt a need to share it with you, especially given the 2012 prophecies and current events. I will admit Juno Jordan is my greatest teacher and I admire and respect her work as well as owe her a debt of gratitude for sharing her vast wealth of knowledge.
If you are wondering about this BIG SHIFT on this planet, read on and let Juno’s words, written in 1965 explain to you.

Juno Jordan, born in 1884, is considered to be one of the most respected Numerologists who ever lived. She founded the California Institute of Numerical Research for the purpose of disproving or proving Numerology and her research, gathered over 25 years, has greatly added to our understanding of Numerology as we use it today.

In 1965 Juno published “Numerology: The Romance in Your Name” and there is a chapter in that book which foretells of the current state of the planet. It is Chapter XXIII titled “World Events”.
In this chapter, Juno describes the cycles, as determined by the numbers that offer humanity opportunities to progress. In her words “When the laws of the cycles is not heeded, war, conflict, and confusion follow. In times of uncertainty ask for spiritual guidance; try to be in the vanguard of those who believe in the promises, and love the “LIGHT” rather than the dark.

2011 Predictions

Based Upon Numerology

2011 is a 4 Universal Year. ( 2+0+1+1=4) We have to look to the energy of the number 4 in order to understand the trend of global events in 2011.
The 4 Year is strongly associated with hard work and little freedom to pursue frivolous activities. It is a time to be practical, down to earth, follow the rules and be organized and efficient. Success can only be achieved through endurance and discipline. It is a Year that is instrumental for building a foundation for the future because the number 4 demands that we stabilize all areas of our life by working on the foundation upon which we live. On that note, the number 4 is strongly associated with Mother Earth. Financially, it can be a challenging year because you have to be careful with your money in a 4 Year, being frugal and spending it wisely
There is also a warning about stress and health with the number 4.

The mood of the world is about to take a somber note and I suspect our sense of humor will be on hiatus in 2011. It is time for the world to work on our problems in a no nonsense way.
The following are potential trends for 2011 based upon its being a 4 Universal Year and also observations on events in October.
1. Governments around the world will have to reign in their spending and you will find cuts to programs that would be considered to be expendable. It is time for our governments to be frugal. Whether it is on a federal, state or local level, budgets must be balanced and some of these budget cuts will be severe.
2. Products that are more efficient or that save money, for example fuel efficient cars, will be invented or marketed. This would be an area to invest your money. Look for start up companies of this nature. Also if you have extra money to invest, given the excellent buyers market in real estate, if you can invest in a rental property or something of that nature, this would be the best place to put your money rather than the stock market. It is not a year to take a risk.
3. More laws will be proposed and passed that on some level create limitations in our lives, perhaps even limiting our freedom. It will all about “law and order” in 2011. Our travel could be restricted in some way.
4. There will be a clash in ideologies where there is no middle ground. People will have strong opinions. This may cause more demonstrations or protests. People will become stressed and angry. Some incidents could potentially become violent.
5. Governments will either choose to or be forced (perhaps because of a natural disaster) to work on the infrastructures of their countries. Due to the fact the sun is in a solar maximum period, we face real danger with an interruption to our electricity for extended periods. There are plans in place to cut power in the event of a serious solar flare. This is based upon scientific facts and I encourage you to do your own research on the effects of this particular solar maximum period on you and your families. Be prepared.
6. People will feel the increasing costs of gas, food and necessities and have to make adjustments with their own budgets. There also could be protests over high prices. We can also expect shortages of products. You may want to stock up on basics and you might even consider it an investment as prices will continue to rise so you will be saving money in the long run by purchasing at a lower price.
7. Fashions and trends will be less colorful but more practical and there will be less emphasis on exorbitant spending and even Hollywood will tone down the usual “over the top” spending, glitz and glamour.
8. Companies who have been unethical by lying or misrepresenting their products will be exposed and held accountable. This would also include public individuals.
9. The increased trend in Earthquakes will continue in 2011. Because there was a 6.9 Earthquake in the Gulf of California in October, I have concern about that area. I also expect more tsunamis.
10. Industries that depend on a good economy such as the vacation and travel industry, restaurants, and high end commerce will continue to suffer even more in 2011. People will not be as willing to part with their hard earned dollar even if they have extra money.
11. The stock market may “flat line” in the sense that people will not be as willing to take a risk.
12. Unfortunately, job losses and unemployment will add to the financial limitations of many people in 2011. Many job losses will come from budget cuts made by the government for government funded organizations.
13. 2011 may be a difficult year for epidemics or pandemics. There is already evidence of this with cholera in Haiti, whooping cough, hand and foot disease and now news of the bird flu in China. Learn how to keep your immunity system healthy. Start taking Vitamin D and C and do some research on other options.
14. North Korea will continue to be a concern for their aggressive behavior and there will be more news which will cause alarm.
15. Weather will continue to break the records. Flooding, wind storms, tornadoes and “freak storms” will be in the news for 2011. Expect a few Nor’easters this year but generally a milder winter for the East and a difficult winter for the Midwest. I do not expect an active hurricane season in the Atlantic again in 2011.
16. Expect more and more unexplained phenomenon with the earth’s atmosphere in 2011 including meteorites, undiscovered anomalies, and strange behavior of the sun and yes, even UFOs.
17. Without question, the focus on a more spiritual approach to living will continue to grow and you can expect to see continued growth of this trend in TV, radio and all forms of media.

11/11 November 11, 2010 and November 11, 2011

The 11:11 phenomenon, where people repeatedly see this number, has been the subject of 194 million websites , countless books and even has its own page on Wikipedia. There is a great deal of speculation to it's meaning but it goes without question that the 11:11 phenomenon has our attention.

Numbers have esoteric meanings and the one science that defines those meanings is Numerology which is founded upon ancient wisdom. Being a Numerologist and having the opportunity to do thousands of Numerology readings has given me insight regarding the 11. Add to that, simple observation of events that unfold under the influence of the 11 vibration and there is a pattern which defies coincidence.
As we approach November 11, 2010 and soon to come November 11, 2011, many people will be questioning it's meaning.

The 11 is considered to be the "messenger" and it aligns it's message to a Higher Power. The message itself is meant to enlighten or awaken a person to the truth , bringing about a higher consciousness. Many people feel that upon seeing the 11:11 repetitively they have experienced a shift within regarding their spiritual beliefs.

Through the life experiences of clients who have the 11 prominently in their Numerology Charts, I can say with certainty that the 11 is a powerful vibration. People have experienced what we would categorize as being "paranormal experiences" under the influence of the 11. These can come in the form of dreams, visions, prophetic information, psychic insight, astral travel, deja vu and any form of communication with spirit you can imagine.
Most of these same clients have also experienced a life altering experience which has prompted them to search for deeper meaning to their lives and at some point, they seek to share what they have learned with others. Hence, the message creates the "messenger".
Looking back through history, Martin Luther King, Jackie Kennedy, Winston Churchill, Mozart and Edgar Allan Poe are just the tip of the iceburg of famous 11s.

Researching events in history that occurred under the influence of the 11, most notably 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina, ( the name Katrina adds to an 11 and it made landfall on an 11 day) one also sees a pattern to significant events that occur when the 11 is present. Such events should prompt us to explore a deeper meaning beyond the headlines. What is the message?
The 11's message is always associated with humanity; to awaken, to uplift, to inspire, to enlighten.

This year on November 11th and especially next year on 11/11/11, be aware that it is a high vibrational day and your connection to the spiritual realm is heightened. It certainly is within the realm of possibility to have insightful, if not prophetic dreams and even a strong spiritual experience. You may find clarity about something that eluded you previously.
Meditate and connect to the Divine, however you define your Higher Power, and be open to receive your own personal message of the day. Be sure to also look at the news events of the day for special meaning.

Confessions of a Reformed 8th Grader

I recall sitting in 8th grade at St. Mary's Parochial School, staring at my worn and tattered shoes and wishing it was my turn for new shoes. The seam on the side was ripping out and I recall sliding my feet sideways so no one could see it. I am not sure how many weeks went by before I got a new pair of shoes but I do remember how embarrassed I was by having to wear the old ones.

Being one of six children growing up meant learning to go without. Never at a loss for love or laughter, but occasionally, you had to wait until it was financially possible for your parents to replace something as simple as the shoes on your feet. Hand me down clothing was a way of life in our house and God, I disliked the color red and it just seemed that was the color of the dress I always inherited. With four sisters, there was a constant stream of hand-me-downs. Add to that, my mother loved the color red and it was a given that red constantly showed up in our wardrobes.

For the most part of my life my clothing consisted of uniforms for school. Again, I had to deal with styles and colors not of my choosing although I have to admit I still have a fondness for a good blazer. Still, just the mention of a crisp white shirt with a peter pan collar sends me screaming in the other direction. If jeans did not come standard in navy blue, I would never wear that color either.

Yesterday, I had to empty out my closet to prepare for new carpet to be laid down in the bedroom. I stopped counting at 30 pairs of shoes. I also looked for the first time at the stacks of clothing on my top shelf, the four bins of winter items neatly stored beneath, the hanging shirts and pants and dresses and jackets. I also knew I had clothes stored in every other closet in the house. ( please do not tell my husband) I also made a mental note to never buy another peasant blouse as long as I live.

The good news is there was not even a hint of red. The bad news is that I realized I had an obsession. Was I trying to make up for a clothing starved youth? Had I entered a contest where the person with the most clothes wins?

I began to think about when and why I buy clothing. It wasn't a necessity. I tend to shop when I am feeling overwhelmed as if having another shirt puts me back in my power. I sometimes crave a new outfit the way that most women crave chocolate. Sadly, I crave chocolate too but that is another blog entirely. The point of the matter is that I realized I was an emotional shopper and somehow my closet was a stark reminder that happiness does not come by virtue of the size of your wardrobe.

I also realized that shopping was my only hobby. Now I am not saying that I am going to take up macrame any time too soon but I am going to try to be fully conscious when I go to the mall. I have decided it is OK to be kind to myself and an occasional outfit does feed the soul but I am not going to shop because I had a bad day or because I am upset about something. I am not going to try to pacify the 8th grader in me who wore the tattered shoes or was forced to wear the color red, but rather, celebrate the 56 yr old I have become. She does not need 30 pair of shoes because she has realized she only has 2 feet.

Who would have thought cleaning out your closet could bring such a revelation?

DESTINY

Having a Destiny suggests that we all have Destinations.

Where am I going and what am I here to do? What is the purpose of my life?

Doing readings all these years has taught me a thing or two about Destinies.

Last night I did a reading for a lady who had spent years caring for her mother who had Alzheimers. It inspired her to write a book to help other people caring for a parent with this difficult disease. It was her Destiny.

Yesterday I also received a book from a wonderful woman who had lost her young child to cancer. She too, wrote the story of her experience to give comfort to other parents and deliver a special message on the afterlife from her son. It was her Destiny.

There also is the story of a wife who lost her husband to cancer and in the process of her grief, went on a spiritual journey only to discover the origins of her soul and proof of life after death. Destiny

One of the most memorable readings I ever did was for a young man who spent 5 years of his life addicted to heroin. Now a recovering addict, he had dedicated his life to counseling others with addictions. Destiny

The stories of these people's lives was, without question, validated by the numbers in their Numerology Chart. I can only imagine the discussion on Destiny prior to incarnation for these souls.

Who chooses to loose a child or to watch a parent slip away or bury a husband or to endure drug addiction?

Courageous souls do.

In the moments of our greatest darkness, we find our greatest strength. Adversity can be the greatest of teachers because through adversity, we often discover our Destiny. Yes, adversity itself is part of the journey.

Sometimes it is hard to understand the good in the difficult circumstances of our lives but every experience serves a purpose. We are in apprenticeship for the most part of our lives in preparation for fulfilling our Destiny. Eventually, you will be able to look back upon your experiences and fully realize their meanings and how you have always been guided because your soul has always been at the helm of your journey. Your soul planned your destination and also gave you all the tools you need to arrive there.

2012 Ask Yourself This

Take for a moment all the prophecy and predictions off the table. This is not a debate as to whether it will happen or not. Instead, just consider this one question.

" If ONLY 10% of the world's population believe that 12/21/2012 spells disaster, what would happen?"

There is approximately 6.7 billion people on this planet.

That translates to 670 million people behaving badly. What is even more disturbing is that 10% is most likely an understatement.

It is completely logical assumption that there will be an emotional reaction to the predictions for 2012. That can not be denied.

From what is written about 2012, the scenario is doomsday. There is no shortage of information, from books to movies to websites on the Internet. If you Google 2012, there are 13 million websites. It is mainstream news and discussions have appeared in newspaper articles and magazines and heard on television and radio. As 2012 approaches, there will likely be a frenzy of even more information gathering in speed and intensity.

Add to that the uneasiness of current global problems ( earthquakes, volcanoes, melting glaciers, oil spills, financial meltdowns, disease) and you have potentially a cause for people , in general, to be more willing to jump on the doomsday bandwagon.

Now back to 670 million people behaving badly.

Fear is an emotional response to a perceived threat and is the most basic human survival instinct. People will be fearful. When people operate from fear, especially when they perceive their life is in jeopardy, they will do whatever it takes to survive. In the scenario presented by the 2012 prophecies, there is no escaping but rather enduring and hopefully surviving whatever the impending disaster might be.

Think for a moment of the Titanic, a story we all know well. The difference is , in this scenario, we will not be able to exit the planet in an orderly fashion.

If 2012 is a complete "no show", you are still going to have to deal with the fear. As the clock continues to tick, time is bringing us closer to 12/21/12, and there will be chaos. There will be people who will break the law. There will be violence. There will be hoarding. There will be uncivilized behavior.

The very fact that people believe the potential impending doom of 2012 will create difficult circumstances for all of us to deal with no matter what we personally believe. Potentially, fear itself could be the most destructive part of the 2012 equation.

Imagine 670 million people on this planet behaving badly and you get a sense of how destructive this fear could be and how that fear might effect you and your family.

Regardless of what 2012 brings, this problem will need to be addressed. I wonder if our governments have given thought to human nature and the implications of 2012 upon the psyche of humanity.

Y2K in the year 2000 never happened. Still it was a notable doomsday scenario in recent memory. I can recall countless reassurances by our government and media that nothing was going to happen and the problem had been addressed.

The silence from our leaders is almost eerie.

The question really is, when it comes to 2012, is fear our greatest enemy?

When People Hand You a Crap Sandwich, Build an Igloo

People can be just plain mean.

No Matter how hard you try to live your life peacefully, eventually you will meet your nemesis and an arguement will ensue and hurtful things are said or even sometimes hateful actions are taken.

I always advocate trying to resolve the issue but sometimes,try as you may, there is no harmonious solution. You have reasoned with them, apologized, tried desperately to find an end to the arguement and it still is a massive problem. There really isn't anything else you can do. You have done your part. Your feelings are hurt. Your self esteem has taken a blow. You question yourself and want to crawl in a hole and die.

You have traveled the higher road but perhaps it is time to get on the Artic Expressway. What to do ? What to do?

Build an Igloo.

No not an actual igloo but rather an igloo in your mind. It does not matter how you build it, block by block or all at once. Just visualize it and when you have built your igloo, promptly place the offending individuals in your mental igloo. Yes grab them by the scruff of their necks and shove them in there!

Why you ask? Sounds pretty stupid doesn't it? I am going to explain right now.

When people get angry and emotional, the first thing they do is think negative thoughts which is negative energy. The more emotional they are, the stronger the negative energy. Then come the negative words and eventually the negative actions. These thoughts, words and deeds are negative energy and that negative energy is coming straight at you. They may live miles away from you but that energy still has an effect upon you. An unbalanced person that constantly thinks negative thoughts about you or wishes you ill can cause you problems that actually can manifest in illness or other physical effects.

Enter the igloo.

By mentally placing that person in the igloo, you are creating protection from their negative energy. You are in essence freezing them out of your life. Stopping them cold. You are putting a barrier between yourself and their negative energy. You are taking their power away to hurt you. You are also empowering yourself by disengaging from the vicious cycle of back and forth that can keep this negative energy flowing into your life.

It is a visualization but a powerful one.

When you place that person in the igloo, offer thoughts of emotional healing and love to them. Wish them no harm. Wish that they be happy and healthy and free from suffering and go on with your life knowing that their negative energy is frozen and unable to harm you in any way.

And if you happen to run across them, and they say something nasty or give you the evil eye, just hand them a pair of mittens and smile . You handled your crap sandwich..thank you very much.

The Reincarnation of Madame Curie

Several years ago a very talented clairvoyant named Carolyn Evers told me that she saw in a vision of my past life that I was the reincarnation of Madame Curie. Although I appreciated Carolyn's insight, I dismissed the idea entirely because the very idea of chemistry and physics makes me nauseous. I also strongly resist needing a "title" to make you feel special.

Still, there were many things about being told that I was the reincarnation of Madame Curie that struck me odd. Being an avid fan of biographies, which really got me started with Numerology, I happen to own Madame Curie's biography as it was one of my childhood favorites. The book sits on my desk to this day with my many other favorite books.

I also could not help but pick up on the names in Madame Curie's actual life. My middle name is Marie and Madame Curie's name is Marie. My mother's name is Irene and Madame Curie named her daughter Irene. I even named my own daughter Greta Irene.

I also could not help but wonder why, ever since I was a child, that I was afraid to have an x-ray and when I got older I often argued with Doctors about the necessity of having one. Could it be that because Madame Curie died of radiation poisoning that I had a fear of x-rays?

I also was very aware of her life and knew that after her husband died, she eventually had an affair with her married lab assistant. This act almost cost her the Nobel Peace Prize as she was a public figure, albeit a reluctant one, and during that era, such a thing was scandalous. I find it very interesting that when looking at the Numerology of my own chart and my husband's, we have a Karmic relationship that points to a past life together and a past affair. The very fact that my husband is a geologist, raises an eyebrow as well because it reflects his scientific past. Imagine a Numerologist and a Geologist?

Madame Curie was a recluse for the most part and her work was her life. She never enjoyed the public limelight. I certainly can resonate to those feelings. Although I have what appears to be an outgoing personality, basically I prefer to spend time alone. My work is my life and although Numerology is considered to be a "pseudo-science" it surprisingly is based upon physics. I have to admit I do a great deal of research with Numerology testing the theories of it. It involves many hours of research, analysis and collecting data.

Once you begin to study Numerology, you realize that it speaks clearly about psychic gifts. Words such as psychic, mediumship, prophetic dreams, healers, spiritual teachers and a connection to the spiritual realm are weaved throughout the meanings of the numbers.

ROXY SPEAKS!~

After I finished my BBS Radio Show, my guest Vonita Bair called me. She explained to me that during the show, Roxy, my little Yorkie rescue, was trying diligently to speak with her.

Yes, indeed, a normally sleeping and silent Roxy, was sitting beside me during the radio show and barking up a storm. Vonita told me that she had promised Roxy to call me and set up an appointment so Roxy could speak her mind.

The day of the reading arrived and Vonita tuned into Roxy who quickly proclaimed " I have different food than the other dog and MINE tastes better!~" ( Quite true as Roxy dines on some pretty expensive food.) Roxy quickly told Vonita that her Daddy has been busy lately and something has changed. Roxy said Daddy created a bit of chaos in the household. (To validate, my husband was working in Missouri for the past 2 years and has recently finished the job. He is home all the time now and "yes my little Roxy" , he does keep us all hopping. )Roxy was concerned because she said it was her job to be my assistant and not Daddy's. ( not to worry Roxy, your job is safe). Vonita said Roxy had a funny personality and was very easy going which is so VERY true.

I asked Vonita to ask Roxy how her leg was feeling. Vonita had no knowledge of what had transpired over the past year. Roxy said "It was an accident" and she felt very bad because everyone was so upset. Roxy went on to say that the first Doctor was nice but it was the second Doctor who really helped her. Roxy also told Vonita that she had a hard time going to the bathroom because of her cast which she wore for a REALLY LONG TIME.

( My husband accidentally stepped on Roxy and broke her leg. We took her to our regular vet and she wore a cast for 7 weeks but the leg did not heal. She ended up going to an Orthopedic Vet and had surgery, putting in a plate to help her leg heal. Roxy was in a cast for almost 5 months.)

Roxy let me know that her leg gets cold and and I promised to keep Roxy warmer. Not surprisingly, the vet had told us that Roxy would be cold sensitive due to the plate in her leg.

I asked if Roxy was happy here with us and Roxy said YES. We had soft beds and toys and she was very grateful to be part of our family. ( Roxy was rescued from a puppy mill where she was nothing more than a breeder dog with no human love or contact).

ENTER PEPPER!

Our other dog Pepper wanted to speak too and she immediately exclaimed " I have BIG FEET" . Vonita knew Pepper was trying to say she was much bigger than the other dog.

Pepper told Vonita that her job was to watch the house and everyone in it. Pepper told us she does not like traveling with us and that she gets carsick. ( a fact I know all too well ) Pepper said she would rather stay home and she likes the nice lady who comes in to take care of her. ( we do have a neighbor let Pepper in and out when we have to travel and Pepper likes her very much)

I asked Pepper if she missed Gus. Gus was alive when Pepper came to us but unfortunately he has since passed. Pepper said " No Mommy, I don't miss Gus. He is here all the time!~ Besides we have him in a box on the table!~

STUNNED ..I was simply stunned!~ We have Gus's ashes in a box on our TV stand.

Pepper went on to say " Mommy wasn't he HANDSOME!" ( Yes Pepper Gus was a most handsome dog and we always told him that ).

I have to say that I am leaving quite a few things out but Vonita's reading was nothing short of amazing to me but the best was yet to come.

ENTER GUS!

Vonita told me Gus was there. My Gus..my beloved Gus who I miss so much.

Gus told me that it was his time to go. He was happy for the time he had with us. Gus then told Vonita he had a special request for my husband and I. He said we could do what we wanted and he would respect our choice.Gus then asked to have his ashes buried with Sam ( my husband) when Sam goes.

This was truly an AMAZING SIGN from Gus. My husband and I had been struggling about where to bury Gus's ashes. We had discussed burying them by the cow pasture out back because Gus loved the cows so much. My husband had just recently said to me , he was not ready yet to remove Gus's ashes from the TV stand and apparently Gus had been listening and was giving us directions as to where he would like to be buried. Unbelievable!~

Vonita Bair is an incredible medium to the spiritual realm and this reading with her served to validate that love never dies, not even in the animal kingdom. Her ability to communicate with my pets was undeniable and I know that I will be a better parent to my "fur-babies" because of her. I also know I will have a greater belief that animals do indeed telepathically communicate to us and all the messages I receive throughout the day from my little girls are indeed their voices speaking to me. Dear Destiny

It is time we had a talk, you and I, to touch bases so to speak. I have been working to achieve you for such a long time now. I was wondering how I am doing and if I am there yet?

I realize long before I took my first step on this Earth, before my first breath, I meticulously planned this journey. I can only imagine the process of creating this life and how you , my Destiny, were determined.

How much time and thought was put into the intricate details? How many other souls gathered to support my endeavor and willingly agreed to play a role in my life to help me achieve you? I realize my soul had an agenda and you, Dearest Destiny, were the final stop.

Upon reflection, I can see the many experiences which served to remind me of who I was. I recall countless events that appeared to be happenstance but served a greater purpose. I have begun to acknowledge the many teachers I met along the way. I now understand that in my moments of greatest adversity, I found my greatest strengths. In my moments of greatest joy, I discovered the beauty of the human heart. It has been quite a journey.

I have come to understand that everything happens for a reason knowing full well that it is part of the plan. I have come to embrace every experience with a newfound perception. What is this teaching me and how is it enhancing my being? Dearest Destiny, I am beginning to wonder if understanding all of this is indeed the final goal.

Raising Children in the World We Live In

How do we, as parents help our children to live in this world? How do we prepare them? How do we teach them to measure success, not by material things, but by becoming the very best that they can be? How do we help our children to realize their authentic self?

One very good way is for us to truly understand our children is to FIRST realize that perhaps we, ourselves, are measuring them by what WE think is important, rather than by WHAT is important to them. We have to be willing to allow them to BE exactly who they are. We can not change them, we simply must discover who they are and nurture them in the process of BEING who they are which, by the way, might be completely opposite of who we are.

And who are they exactly?
And how do we know what is important to them? How do we know at an early age, what their talents and abilities are? How do we know what things might present a problem for our children? How do we understand what truly would make them happy?

You know as a parent, you would give your child anything.
Now children seem to lack for nothing.
It truly is a material world when a kid has a cell phone. Computers, an iPod and a DVD player and the inside of their room looks like a “Toys r Us “ . We worry about their safety and provide them with bicycle helmets and car seats . We send them to dance class and soccer camp and pre-school, all in the attempts to be a good parent to them.
But do we nurture their spirit?
Do we nurture their soul?
Do we teach them to be their authentic self?

Is that not every bit as important as all the rest?
Is that not MORE important than all the rest ?

This is where Numerology comes in.

I choose not to judge you because I am not fully aware of your experience nor do I understand the undertakings of your soul and what lessons you seek to learn in this lifetime. Far be it for me to judge that which I have no knowledge of. Rather I choose to accept you just exactly as I find you and honor your journey. I know what you do is perfectly right for you. It may not be in alignment with my truth but certainly it is yours. I respect and honor that. I wish you well no matter your path.

Each and every person is unique unto themselves. There is no perfection to achieve but rather, and more importantly, the task of simply being authentic. From the moment of birth, we are told what to think and say, how to feel, act, and what to believe. This information comes from our family, loved ones, friends, teachers , acquaintances and the media.
In our efforts to be loved and accepted, we try valiantly to fit in but somewhere along the way, we loose sight of who we truly are.

And the judgement comes to keep us tightly bound in misconception....

Psychics Mediums and Things That Go Bump in the Night

I had the opportunity to attend a gallery event in Doylestown PA for a psychic medium named Joseph Tittel. Joseph has been a frequent guest on my Radio Show "Visible By Numbers" on BBS Radio. I have also had a personal phone reading from him so I was well aware of his abilities. During that reading he came up with indisputable facts and information that were so specific, there was no doubt in his ability to connect to the "other side". I , however, had never seen him in person and was curious about the whole process of mediumship.

As the room filled, I wondered what motivated these other people to attend. I assumed they lost a loved one and were they hoping to receive messages from them. I was grateful that I was not there for that reason. Yes, I have lost family members but distant ones and I never have experienced deep grief except when my dog Gus died. It would have been cool if Gus came through but I am not sure if Joseph could have understand his high pitched frenzied barking.
But I digress.

Joseph was introduced by his very charming partner Bob who explained to all of us the process of a gallery style event. Soon Joseph took the stage.
The first thing I noticed was Joseph's aura. I suppose I should mention that I see auras and his was vibrant. He spoke for awhile about his life and I enjoyed his humor and his public speaking abilities. Lets face it, you can be the most gifted psychic medium in the world, but charisma and charm goes a long way with your delivery. Joseph had both.

It was finally time for the readings and I observed an intensity in Joseph and you could almost perceive a switch being turned on within him. The pace of his speech quickened and with closed eyes, he began sharing the first messages of the night. Information comes to him in almost shotgun speed. Names, dates and very specific information flowed from him. His accuracy was nothing less than impressive. I also observed his aura intensifying.

I sat next to a man receiving a reading and he validated everything Joseph was saying. I watched the man closely and knew Joseph was hitting home with what he was saying.
Reading after reading and nodding affirmations and validations continued as the evening progressed.

I tend to shy away from using the words " a gift" as I believe people are gifted in many ways. Observe the love and caring in a Mother's eyes and you witness the gift of unconditional love.

In the end, as the gallery event closed, I realized that Joseph did indeed have the gift of mediumship, though I never doubted it. It is a gift just like any of the others but he is extraordinary at it.

When Humility Comes a Knocking Learn to Laugh at Yourself

I am about to share with you an absolutely mortifying experience. Most people would not survive it and live to laugh about it but the story must be told because no matter what your mortifying experience has been, mine is probably much worse. You decide.

I live in PA and I am originally from NY which requires many a trip to NY to visit my family. This ends up to be an exhausting experience as there are many people to see and I am constantly on the run. Although I love them dearly, these weekend visits take their toll on my energy.
After a 4 Day visit, my husband and I were on the long drive home. Nature came calling and I had him pull into a McDonald's so I could go to the bathroom. Now mind you, I hate public bathrooms but sometimes you have to go and have no choice. My husband stayed with the car as our dogs were with us and I went in to do my "girlie thing".

Do you have any idea how hard it is to not sit on a public restroom seat? You have to delicately balance yourself in a hovering position, knees bent and sometimes aching, your butt precariously perched and at the same time relax so you can do what you came to do.
You hurry up and wipe , pull up your pants, wash your hands and get the hell out of there because public rest rooms give you the heebie-jeebies. Ok maybe I am the only one public bathrooms give the heebie-jeebies and OK maybe I need therapy but that is not the point of the story.

I returned to the car and my husband wanted to go in and get something to eat so I stood outside the car stretching my legs before beginning another marathon drive on the highway to home. While standing there I nonchalantly reached back and felt something unusual and when I grabbed it, I realized it was a long wad of toilet paper that was dangling out the back of my pants. I then realized in my haste to wipe and get out of the dreaded public restroom, the toilet paper did not get flushed but rather accompanied me to the car. My first reaction was to die right there and my second reaction was to laugh hysterically at myself. I quickly grabbed the toilet paper and kicked it under the car. THANK GOD I discovered it and took care of the problem. End of story right? No ..not so fast

I noticed my husband coming out of the McDonalds and he was laughing. I asked him what was so funny and he told me that all the kids working the counters were laughing at this lady who just left the restaurant with toilet paper sticking out the back of her pants.

Now internally I was laughing at myself but I was not about to tell my husband that the toilet paper challenged lady in question was me.
As we pulled away from our parking space, I quickly tried to divert his attention from the wad of white toilet paper laying on the black aspalt that suddenly looked like a friggin mountain and was being slowly exposed as we backed out. I yelled "Oh Look at the Hawk!~" and seeing my husband loves hawks..it worked like a charm. My secret was safe ( except for the 8 or so teenagers working at the McDonalds in Scranton PA)

The moral of the story is if you can not laugh at yourself, who can? You can be the most charismatic, accomplished person in the world but eventually humility will come a knocking and sometimes it comes in the form of toilet paper sticking out the back of your pants.

Now please do NOT tell my husband. I do want him to be the only person in the world to still think of me as being a refined and delicate lady. It is our little secret.

What makes a 7 Lifepath and 6 Birthday happy?

If you happen to study Numerology, you will find that almost every Numerology book tends to regurgitate the same definitions of the numbers which can be frustrating. Having a list of adjectives sounds good in theory but what does it all mean?

Which brings me to my title "What makes a 7 Lifepath and 6 Birthday happy?"
Oh Yesterday was a very good day indeed!~

I had readings scheduled for most of the morning and early afternoon.
I get up at 5 AM and in the quiet of the early morning, I set about to calculate the charts for any persons I have an appointment with that day. I prefer to actually make up the charts the day of the reading for good reason. As a person's numbers appear before me, a conversation begins and I hear all that I will tell them when the reading begins. Numerology is scientific yes, but you can not discount intuitiveness and Divine Guidance as an integral part of the reading. "How" you say things is equally as important as "what" you say. The numbers have meanings but interpretation is an art.
What makes me a good Numerologist is my 7 Lifepath number. 7s tend to be braniacs and they study things to the point of becoming an expert. God knows I have studied Numerology. Not only have I studied it, but each and every day, I apply it. I do research constantly on the numbers, constantly seeking to validate their effect in our lives. 7s tend to be either very scientific or very spiritual and in me, you have a mixture of both, taking an esoteric science and making it my life.
Once the charts are done, it is time to meditate as I meditate prior to each reading. Of all the numbers, meditation is a must for 7s.
The readings went very well and I even got an email or two from my clients thanking me for their reading which is gratifying.
I may not be able to change the world, but I do create change even if only with one person at a time. I shift my client's perspective and to help them to see their experiences from a soul's point of view. Numerology done right, is a beautiful thing.

Now on to my 6 Birthday...
God knows 6 energy is Martha Stewart's target group as we love a pretty house.
Nothing makes a 6 happier than cleaning products and I happen to have a new steam cleaner for my rugs. Oh JOY!~
So I quickly changed hats from the wise old sage to Ms Martha and steam cleaned all the carpets in my house. It is almost "sick" how much I enjoyed seeing the color of the carpets brighten as the steam cleaner did it's work. Someone else might think I needed therapy but you have to have 6s in your chart to really appreciate the value of a good cleaning tool. I won't mention how much I love a good furniture polish less you have me locked up.
Back to my 7 energy as 7s need a lot more sleep than the other numbers so I headed upstairs for a well deserved nap.
It was a good day ... and THAT is what makes a 7 LIFEPATh and 6 BIRTHDAY happy.

They say I have a gift for languages but having studied Latin in school, nothing seemed further from the truth.
My Latin teacher, Mr Durkin, in frustration one day in class, threw an eraser at me for not knowing how to conjugate the Latin word for girl. It seemed absurd to me that there were 12 endings to the word puella depending on where you used it in a sentence.
Mr. Durkin, I forgive you for being upset with me but seriously "anger management classes" please...
And so I began to realize I spoke the language of Numbers.
It is a language you know? It is the Universal Language.
A universal language is a hypothetical historical or mythical language said to be spoken and understood by all or most of the world's population; or, in some circles, is said to be understood by all living things, beings, and objects alike.
Every culture understands numbers. The whole world exists because of them and everything revolves around them.
I discovered Numerology as a child. In the summers off from school, my favorite place to be was the public library. I was rather fond of biographies and I guess you could surmise that even at such a young age, I was questioning how a person achieves their destiny. I also was interested in books that would seem quite odd for a child of the 50s such as the biography of Edgar Cayce as well as books on Transcendental Meditation.
I recall my Mother's horror as she discovered me in the lotus position meditating in my room, something that was not in alignment with my Parochial School upbringing. It is a wonder she didn't have my library card revoked. Thankfully she did not.
It was on one of those hot summer days, on a trip to the library, that I discovered my first Numerology Book. I now officially extend my gratitude to Juno Jordan for writing "Romance in Your Name". It was this book, it's very contents, that opened a doorway of understanding on the subject of "destiny" and lit a fire within me to explore the language of numbers. It was not long before I realized I was gifted at this language.
So there you have it Mr Durkin...I may not be able to conjugate the noun puella but I can do a dissertation on the number 1.

You can not do anything really well unless you are passionate about it. I am passionate about Numerology. More importantly, it is my destiny to be a Numerologist.
